Mrs. Evelyn Yovonne Adams, 78 years old of Coleman passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Hendrick Hospice in Abilene. Evelyn was born January 1, 1934 in Roscoe, Oklahoma to Robert Edker Thomas & Letha Lee Carter. She married Virgil Harold Adams on July 7, 1948 in Elko, Nevada. Evelyn was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by 2 loving sons; Robert Adams of Coleman and Patrick Adams of Burkett, 1 brother and sister in law; Kenneth & Diana Thomas of Oklahoma, several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Saturday November 3, 2012 from 6:00 until 7:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff Gore officiating, interment will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Burkett, Texas under the direction of Walker Funeral Home.
